In this stage production of Company, directed by Eli Simon, we wanted to highlight the hustle and bustle of New York City, as well as give the setting an extra dose of '70s vibes. The sound player to the right features the opening sound cue for our production. It was all recorded in the studio, but futzed to sound as close to a 70s voice message tape as possible.
The 14-person cast was supported by a 13-piece orchestra as well as six pit singers, with music direction by Lex Leigh. Please see my drafting package below which contains my sound delivery system, as well as orchestra miking layout and network plot.
